Strategic Alliance Program

Our Strategic Alliance Program helps link Nigerian firms with potential U.S. investors and partners to pursue business ventures in Nigeria. In order to ensure the greatest likelihood for success, we require the following components from Nigerian businesses interested in this service:

1) Comprehensive business plan outlining specific objectives and a clear expression of the stratigic alliance desired (licensing agreement, equity investment, joint venture, distributorship, and so on).

2) Complete credit report including credit history, trade references, bank references, audited financials, articles of incorporation, business and contact profiles, etc. This report should come from a reputable company and meet international quality standards.

3) Once the above requirements are met, the Nigerian firm should schedule a counseling appointment with the Commercial Section of the U.S. Embassy to discuss strategies for identifying qualified and interested American business partners and investors.
