Welcome to the Pacific Islands Ocean Observing System (PacIOOS) website!

The Pacific Islands Ocean Observing System (PacIOOS) is one of eleven regional observing programs around the country that are supporting the emergence of the U.S. Integrated Ocean Observing System (IOOS). For more information on IOOS, please visit ocean.us.

The intent of the PacIOOS is to create an effective partnership of data providers and users who will work together to develop, disseminate, evaluate and apply new ocean data and information products designed specifically to address the needs of the communities, businesses and resources that call the Pacific home.
