"Rock and the Pop Narcotic (1990)," a book written to the then
current histories of American Rock and Roll. The founder has been
involved in the music business with bands like Black Flag, the
Meat Puppets, Dead Kennedys, and others from 1977 until 1986. A
second edition of R&TPN was issued by 2.13.61 Publications in
1995. The title returned to the publisher in 2005, so a third
printing was put out on Redoubt again. This was followed by a
memoir of the west coast punk music era called "Enter Naomi -
SST, L.A. and All That," which is framed around the late music
photographer Naomi Petersen. She was born in Japan and grew up in
Los Angeles and became the best known music photographer of the
1980s for her work for SST Records, Dischord Records and others.
Also in print is a fiction collection, "Wyoming Stories - Yeung
Girl, The Winter Hand, Homo Vampyrus."
