Export Achievement Certificate Presentation to Therm-Omega-Tech, Inc.

Therm Omega Technology designs and manufacturers self-actuating valves, advanced devices for temperature control and energy conservation that are used in a wide range of industrial applications.

Therm Omega Technology was first introduced to Commerce by attending the Philadelphia USEAC’s "Doing Business in China" seminar in May 2005. Since then, Linda Filimon, Director of International Sales Development, has been working with Trade Specialists from the Philadelphia U.S. Export Assistance Center and partners from the Temple Small Business Development Center (SBDC) and the State of PA trade agency, through the World Trade Center of Greater Philadelphia, (WTCGP). Together they put aided Therm Omega Tech. on an aggressive market campaign to help grow and establish their international business. To this end, Ms. Filimon has incorporated CS joint agencies services into Therm Omega Tech's due diligence process to verify the bonafides of current and potential new distributors.

As a result of due diligence and legal services coordinated by the Philadelphia U.S. Export Assistance Center, the State of PA representative in India and the Philadelphia USEAC’s trade partners, (SBDC & WTCGP), Therm Omega Tech was able to establish a distribution agreement for an undisclosed dollar value with Amaricar Engineering & Systems for representation in Chennai, India which constitutes an increase-to-market (ITM) export sales agreement to India.

In honor of this achievement, Dr. David Sampson, Deputy Secretary for the U.S. Department of Commerce, presented them with an Export Achievement Certificate on August 4th, 2006, at the PNC Bank Building in Center City Philadelphia.
