The Columbia, South Carolina office of the United States Trustee administers bankruptcy cases filed in the Columbia, Charleston, and Spartanburg Divisions of the United States Bankruptcy Court for the District of South Carolina. These divisions consist of the following:

Columbia Division: The counties of Abbeville; Aiken; Allendale; Bamberg; Barnwell; Calhoun; Chester; Chesterfield; Darlington; Dillon; Edgefield; Fairfield; Florence; Greenwood; Hampton; Horry; Kershaw; Lancaster; Lee; Lexington; McCormick; Marion; Marlboro; Newberry; Orangeburg; Richland; Saluda; Sumter; Williamsburg; York.

Charleston Division: The counties of Beaufort; Berkeley; Charleston; Clarendon; Colleton; Dorchester; Georgetown; Jasper.

Spartanburg Division: The counties of Anderson; Cherokee; Greenville; Laurens; Oconee; Pickens; Spartanburg; and Union.
