Summary of MODFLOW-2000
The Online Guide to MODFLOW-2000 and MODFLOW-2005 can be used as a quick way of looking up options available for MODFLOW from the USGS and input formats. It is not a tutorial and is primarily intended for those already familiar with MODFLOW.

Unfortunately, due to licensing restrictions, the USGS is no longer able to publicly distribute the Algebraic Multi-Grid (AMG) solver, on which the Link-AMG (LMG) Package relies. USGS users can download a version of Modflow-2000 that includes AMG from a restricted web site (please contact Ned Bantaor Arlen Harbaughfor the URL). Users outside the USGS can request the code directly from Dr. Klaus Stuben of Fraunhofer-Institute for Algorithms and Scientific Computing (SCAI), Sankt Augustin, Germany, at amg1r5@scai.fraunhofer.de.


Software (Version 1.18.01, June 20, 2008)

A Readme.txt file containing installation instructions is included with the Microsoft Windows software distribution file.
A readme.unix file containing installation instructions is included with the Unix software distribution file.


MODFLOW-2000 compiled for Microsoft Windows 95, 98, ME, NT, 2000, or XP

Contains compiled executable program, source code, test problems, and data conversion utilities.
