SCOPE OF WORK:
Pre-qualification application for the minting and supply of bronze plated steel Nepalese circulation coins of different denominations. Interested bidders should provide the following information to Nepal Rasta Bank by the indicated last date of submission.

1. Year of incorporation as a Mint ;

2. Ownership Status;

3. Last 3 years of audited balance sheet and profit and loss account showing complete financial position, specifically the following headings clearly denominated in US dollar or Euro:

a. Total assets;

b. Total liquid assets;

c. Net Profits;

d. Annual Turnover;

e. Total Working Capital;

f. Annual Production (in pieces of coins);

4. Number of countries for which coins are minted;

5. Whether the blanks are produced by the mint itself?

6. Membership Certificate of the International Mint Association, if applicable;

7. Certificate of winner coin competition, if applicable;

8. Award of honor, recognition or excellence, if applicable;

9. The application must include the following documents:

a. ISO certificate

b. Lab test certificate (of relevant material)

c. Ten years guaranty (of coin to be minted)

NOTES:
1. All the information should be submitted in English and enclosed in a sealed envelope prior to the closing date.

2. Applications will be opened by Nepal Rastra Bank at 1 PM on May 31. Interested parties need not be present for their bids to be considered.
