Who We Are
The Advocacy Center's Liaison Office to the Asian Development Bank (AC ADB) is part of the U.S. Department of Commerce’s global network of export development offices. AC ADB works directly with U.S. firms to target major project, consulting and procurement opportunities generated from the Asian Development Bank’s direct lending and grant activities. The AC ADB captures these opportunities and sends them out as monthly reports entitled "International Market Insights".
The AC ADB also works with U.S. sponsors/developers of private projects who can benefit from the lending and risk mitigation activities of the ADB’s Private Sector Department and the Bank’s Office of Co-financing Operations.
Our Mission
AC ADB office was authorized by the U.S. Congress and began operations in 1992. The office’s staff of five is led by an American Senior Commercial Officer Kenneth Reidbord. AC ADB works closely with the U.S. Executive Director to the ADB, Ambassador Curtis S. Chin, and his staff to provide assistance and advocacy for U.S. firms pursuing business opportunities generated by the ADB's lending and grant activity.
