Over the past few years, EPA has organized several Web conferences to discuss key topics of interest to IAQ champions. Below (listed in descending date order) you can find information about past Web conferences, including the presentations used, supplemental materials distributed, and summaries of each event. January IAQ Tools for Schools Framework and Connector

Building on the momentum from the recent IAQ Tools for Schools Symposium, this Webinar brought together national experts and school leaders to discuss effective IAQ management strategies. Participants learned how the IAQ Tools for Schools Framework can help develop, enhance, and sustain healthy learning environments in their school districts. In addition, participants learned about opportunities to interact with their IAQ management peers through the IAQ Tools for Schools Connector. Attendees heard from David Rowson (U.S. EPA), Brian Kasher (Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools, NC), and Dave Hill (with Blue Valley School District #229, KS.

June How to Write Your Winning IAQ TfS Award Application

This Webinar, held on June 26, 2008, highlights the open competition for the 2008 National Excellence and Model of Sustained Excellence Awards. Participants learned about the IAQ TfS Awards Program and the four tiers of recognition, how to translate successful IAQ management programs into award winning models, and listened to first-hand accounts from past award winners on the process and components of developing their award-winning applications.  Attendees heard from Frank Sever, the IAQ Coordinator with Mayfield City School District, Ohio, and Jeff Moquin, Director of the Risk Management Department with the School Board of Broward County, Florida.  Below you will find the PowerPoint presentation, a transcript of the event including the question and answer segment, and a brief application checklist document to assist those districts seeking the Excellence and Model of Sustained Excellence awards.
