Freshwater Spills Symposium 2009
The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency is pleased to host the seventh Freshwater Spills Symposium (FSS) in St. Louis, Missouri on April 28-30, 2009.
The FSS is aimed at local, state, federal, and industry responders; natural resource trustees and managers; facility response planners; and other stakeholders to promote sharing of information to better understand the challenges posed by oil spills in freshwater environments.
This year, we will be offering free short courses on Monday, April 27, 2009. The Symposium will follow on Tuesday, April 28, 2009, through Thursday, April 30, 2009. As details are finalized, we will post additional information on this Web site. Registration has begun and all participants must register for the Symposium and short courses.
