   Do you speak Español?

Federal US labor laws, state labor laws, and OSHA laws apply to youth workers. Be aware that some of these links will send you to specific state sites that may make reference to laws governing employers and employees in that state only. Employers must comply with both federal and state laws. When federal and state standards are different, the rules that provide the most protection to youth workers will apply.
