Crime Victim Compensation Directory

Crime victim compensation programs across the country offer crucial financial assistance to victims of violence. Information on these programs and how they work can be found in these resources:

Compensation Overview—Offers information about how these programs operate and what victims can do to seek help.

Compensation Directory—Provides detailed descriptions of each state's requirements, benefits, and procedures.

The Compensation Overview and Directory are resources from the National Association of Crime Victim Compensation Boards (NACVCB), which since 1977 promotes the exchange of information and ideas through a nationwide network of victim compensation programs.

NACVCB's Web site is funded under Grant 98-VF-GX-K006 from the Office for Victims of Crime, Office of Justice Programs, United States Department of Justice. The contents of NACVCB's Web site do not represent the official positions of the United States Government.
