USGS Coalition

Organizations interested in supporting increased funding for natural resources sciences have formed the USGS Coalition. This organization is similar to the Cooperative Alliance for Refuge Enhancement (CARE) that has worked with the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service to get increased funding for operation and maintenance within the National Wildlife Refuge System. In fact, some prominent CARE members are also members of the USGS Coalition. Take a look at their website if you would like additional information on this new coalition: www.usgscoalition.org
