You have a unique opportunity to influence how the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) delivers services to the public. The
Taxpayer Advocacy Panel or TAP is a group of volunteers dedicated
to helping the IRS identify ways to improve customer service
and satisfaction. The panel is a Federal Advisory committee
established under the authority of the Department of the Treasury.
The Taxpayer Advocacy Panel listens to taxpayers, identifies taxpayers' issues, and makes suggestions for improving IRS service and customer satisfaction.
