BLM manages 18.4 million surface acres of public land in Wyoming, of which 2,950,314 acres (16%) have been inventoried. On public land over 45,668 cultural heritage resources have been identified, 4,790 (11%) of which have have been determined eligible for inclusion on the National Register of Historic Places (NRHP). Currently, there are 84 BLM sites in Wyoming actually listed on the NRHP; these include three Multiple Properties and two National Historic Landmarks.
