  • Over 306,000 acres surveyed at the Class III level (intensive inventory) - 116,599 acres on BLM administered lands and 190,158 acres on non-BLM surface
  • Over 6,800 actions occurred
  • 4,475 sites recorded - 2,003 on BLM administered lands and 2,472 on non-BLM surface.
  • 456 properties determined eligible for the National Register of Historic Places
  • 3,153 properties avoided destruction
  • 74 cultural properties in stable condition
  • 35 anti-looting/anti-vandalism signs installed to protect cultural resources
  • 64 cultural resource use permits in effect
  • 100 public presentations on archaeology and historic preservation presented to almost 6000 people
  • 14 professional conference presentations or articles published in professional journals on archaeology and historic preservation
  • 93 consultation meetings with representatives and governments of federally-recognized Indian tribes
