Reproduction Instructions

NIIW Posters cannot be ordered through CDC. However, there are three ways you can easily reproduce NIIW materials:

Office Printer: You can download color and black-and-white versions of these files in .pdf format for PRINT with your office laser/inkjet printer.

Local Copy Center: Materials in color .pdf format can be reproduced at a local copy center in sizes up to 24 inches x 18.5 inches, depending on capabilities of copy center.

Commercial (off-set) Printer: A full-size, higher-resolution (24" x 18.5") version of each poster is also available for higher quality or mass production using your local commercial printer**. We would be pleased to provide PRESS files (InDesign , QuarkXPress or .pdf formats) for use with commercial printers. Please contact Cindy Fowler to request a CD-ROM with NIIW commercial printer formatted materials.

**Note: A commercial printer is a company that mass produces printed materials for a fee.

2009 NIIW Stickers

NIIW stickers are formatted for use on Avery 5163 or World Label OL125 4-inch by 2-inch labels. When printing from a color printer, print at 100% -- Do not check "Print to fit page." Four designs are presented on the sheet of 10 labels. Labels can be found online (search "Avery" or "World Label") if not in a local stationery store. We recommend the non-permanent adhesive labels.

2009 NIIW Banners and Icons

Show your support for infant immunization and National Infant Immunization Week-Vaccination Week in the Americas by posting the NIIW official icon on your organization's web site or printed materials. You may also want to share this information with community partners, local and state immunization networks and other community based agencies who support infant immunization and NIIW.

Contact your site's webmaster and have them provide a direct link to the NIIW page (www.cdc.gov/vaccines/events/niiw). NIIW graphics are available as a standard size banner, web button, icon or large banner. Download the images and consult your web development team or printer for assistance with these images.

2009 NIIW Banner for Print/Presentations/Desktop Publishing

File format and description (English version)
  • .ai - banner file Image file (460 KB)
    You will need a graphics program (Corel Draw, Adobe Illustrator, QuarkXPress, InDesign) to open this file. The file is a scalable vector image (resizable) and can be used for billboards, posters, banners, signs, newsletters, etc.
  • .pdf - banner file Adobe Acrobat print-friendly PDF file (958 KB)
    This file format can be used in desktop publishing layouts as a graphic. It can be inserted into PowerPoint and Word documents as a picture. It can also be opened in photo (raster) and image editing (vector) software programs to be resaved in other formats. This works well for both Mac and PC users.
  • .eps - banner fileImage file (1.56 MB)
    This is a vector Encapsulated PostScript file, which can be used in high-end page layout programs, sized as needed with quality results. It can be used for projects as large as billboards or as small as buttons.
  • .tif - banner fileImage file (1.96 MB)
    As a raster image, this format should not be enlarged. However, it can be imported into desktop publishing layouts with “press quality” results. It can easily be inserted into a PowerPoint or Word document as a picture. Hold down the Shift key as you pull a corner to resize.
  • .jpg - banner file Image file (183 KB)
    This is a compressed raster image that works well in Word and PowerPoint presentations. It is not recommended for higher end printing. Hold down the Shift key as you pull a corner to resize.
