Mark White, BSMT

Mark White was selected as the Deputy Director for NCPHI in November 2007. He brings with him more than 20 years of public sector leadership, management, and information technology experience.

Prior to assuming this role, Mr. White served as both the Acting Deputy Director and Acting Management Official for NCPHI. He has also served multiple functions in the National Center for Health Marketing's Division of Public Health Partnerships in CCHIS, including Acting Deputy Division Director, Acting Deputy to the Associate Director for Science, Associate Director of Program Development and Evaluation, and Senior Health Scientist for Oversight of Information Technology and Informatics.

Mr. White served in a progression of professional positions for CDC in the Division of Laboratory Systems since 1993, including Health Scientist in the Laboratory Practice Assessment Branch, Senior Health Scientist, Acting Branch Chief, Associate Director of Program and Finance, and Acting Associate Director of Management Operations.

Before joining CDC, Mr. White served 10 years with the Veterans Administration in a variety of professional assignments, including positions as Medical Technologist, Data Processing Coordinator, and as a Supervisor of Clinical Chemistry and Urinalysis Laboratories.

Mr. White holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Medical Technology (BSMT), and has professional credentials and registrations through the American Society of Clinical Pathologists and the National Certification Association.
