 Financial Status:
  • Total Available: $1,811,131,239
  • Total Paid Out: $639,481
 Major Actions Taken to Date:
  • EPA announced ARRA funding for Clean Water infrastructure projects in the states of Oklahoma and Iowa totaling $84.7 million.
  • Six new State grants for $1.73 each were awarded to the states of Delaware, District of Columbia, Maryland, Pennsylvania, Virginia, West Virginia. To date, 49 States and the District of Columbia now have been awarded grants for a total $86.5 million.
 Major Planned Actions:
  • EPA will review requests for supplemental Revolving Loan Fund (RLF) Brownfield cooperative agreements. Selected grantees will use the ARRA funds for loans and subgrants to private and public entities for cleanup activities. (Deadline for submission of requests is May 1, 2009.)
