On April 30, CBS’ CSI: Crime Scene Investigation featured a full storyline about coroner Dr. Robbins, portrayed by actor, disability rights advocate, amputee, and longtime member of the Amputee Coalition of America Robert David Hall. The first full storyline for Dr. Robbins since he started on the show 9 years ago, this episode, titled "The Gone Dead Train," exposed more dimensions of Hall’s character.

CBS has taken the lead in the hiring of actors with disabilities in TV programming going back to the 1980s. We encourage you to write to thank CBS for its continuing actions of broadcasting accurate portrayals and increasing employment of people with disabilities - in front of the camera and behind the scenes. To comment, go to www.cbs.com/info/user_services/fb_global_form.php. Then choose PRIMETIME or CSI: Crime Scene Investigation in the drop-down menu.

Read the Amputee Coalition of America’s letter to CBS applauding its positive, accurate and candid portrayal of an amputee living a vibrant and active life in a challenging career role.
