![]() If you would like to support limb loss outreach efforts, educational programs, prevention initiatives and the only limb loss information center in the United States, a variety of opportunities are available to you at the Amputee Coalition of America (ACA). Many people are surprised to learn that the gifts they make to charitable organizations, such as the Amputee Coalition, can also bring personal financial benefits. To encourage philanthropy, federal law provides you a number of tax breaks for charitable gifts, depending on the type of asset you donate and the giving method you choose:
Matching giftsSome employers match your charitable gift so your gift may actually double in size. Find out if your company has a matching gift program. Register today to participate in your workplace giving program and be sure to designate the Amputee Coalition of America. If you are a federal employee, please designate the Amputee Coalition of America as your charity recipient during this year’s Combined Federal Campaign. By simply entering the Amputee Coalition’s CFC code (98848) on your campaign pledge card, you can help make a difference in the lives of nearly two million people with limb loss or limb differences. If your employer does not have a workplace giving program, check out our Workplace Giving page. |
