Participant Statistical Areas Program (PSAP)

The 2010 Participant Statistical Areas Program (PSAP) will allow designated participants, following Census Bureau guidelines, to review and suggest modifications to the boundaries for block groups, census tracts, census county divisions, and census designated places for reporting data from the 2010 Census. The American Community Survey and other Census Bureau programs may also report data for these statistical areas following the 2010 Census.

Proposed Criteria

The proposed criteria for these statistical areas were published in the Federal Register on April 6, 2007 [72 FR 17324-17343] for public review and comment.

For information about the PSAP criteria used for Census 2000, please reference the Census 2000 Statistical Areas Boundary page.
