Office of Policy

As called for in its charter, the Voice of America (VOA) presents differing points of view on a wide variety of issues. The Office of Policy presents editorials on the policies of the U.S. government for international radio, television and Internet audiences worldwide including:

Radio

Broadcast by the language services of the VOA, editorials present the U.S. government's view and explanation of policy issues.

Television

Broadcast by VOA television services, the editorials present U.S. government policy in the words of senior U.S. government officials and policymakers.

Rewards for Fugitives Pubic Service Announcements (PSAs)

Broadcast by VOA radio services, these PSAs are aimed at encouraging VOA’s worldwide audience to cooperate with the U.S. government in finding and bringing to justice fugitives wanted for terrorism, war crimes, or major narcotics trafficking.

Internet

VOA editorials are posted and webcast in English at www.voanews.com/uspolicy as well as translated and posted by VOA language services. Web sites are currently being developed for VOA TV editorials and Rewards for Fugitives PSAs.
