OFM's Northeast Regional Office (OFM/NY), located in New York City, covers the states of Pennsylvania, New Jersey, New York, Connecticut, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Vermont, New Hampshire and Maine. The office provides a full range of OFM products and services to the region's diplomatic and consular communities, as well as outreach and coordination services to state and local authorities and vendors of all types.
OFM/NY's clientele encompass the United Nations community, with over 200 missions and agencies, and the consular communities in New York, Boston, and Philadelphia, and individual consulates in other cities.

INSURANCE INFORMATION
The U.S. Department of State requires vehicles registered with it to have minimum third-party liability insurance requirements different from those of the states.
GASOLINE TAX EXEMPTION
OFM/NY has learned that the legislation that went into effect in December 2008 re-establishing streamlined gasoline tax exemption for diplomatic and consular personnel in New York State requires the tax-exempt account-holder submit a new state form to the gasoline company. Here is the directive. The form, FT-505.1, can be accessed here.
OFM/NY will require this form with all applications for new accounts but current account-holders must also complete and submit the form to their gasoline card companies. Reportedly the companies are reaching out to their holders but we will do the same.
