Crustaceans
Crustaceans are found in marine, brackish and fresh waters and are comprised of a large number of arthropods, which includes a various number of animals such as lobsters, crabs, shrimp, crayfish and barnacles. Crustaceans usually have hard shells (exoskeleton) and segmented bodies with pairs of jointed appendages. There are least 77 species of crustaceans that are considered nonindigenous to the waters in which they occur. Out of these 77 species, 44 have become established in their new environment.
