ASLME is a non-profit interdisciplinary educational association
whose mission is to provide high-quality scholarship, debate, and critical thought to the community
of professionals at the intersection of law, medicine, health care, policy and ethics. ASLME
provides a dynamic forum for its members to engage in a valuable exchange of ideas from a wide
range of perspectives. ASLME achieves this goal through two nationally acclaimed journals, the
American Journal of Law & Medicine and the Journal of Law, Medicine & Ethics, and by
holding national educational symposia on topics of interest to its membership. ASLME is located in
