  • IRS: Issued Notice on the Modification of Credit for Residential Energy Efficient Property (ARRA section 1122)
  • IRS: Issued news release providing a safe harbor related to the extension and modification of the credit for non-business energy property (ARRA section 1121), and also covering provisions on the election of investment credit in lieu of production credit and coordination with renewable energy grants (ARRA sections 1102 / 1104)
  • IRS: Issued Energy Fact Sheet summarizing various energy-related tax provisions in the Recovery Act
  • IRS: Issued revised revenue procedures for 5 year net operating loss carryback for small businesses (ARRA section 1211)
  • IRS: Issued news release on credit for new qualified plug-in electric drive motor vehicles and the credit for certain plug-in vehicles (ARRA sections 1141 / 1142)
 Major Planned Actions:
  • TIGTA: Will consolidate Office of Audit Memorandum on ARRA project time and travel costs, DCAA project costs, project management, and reporting procedures.
  • FMS: Plan to receive the first SSA payment file on April 27 and the second file on May 1.
  • IRS: Begin accepting and processing new Form 8038-CP for the Build America Bonds tax credit on May 1st
