Wind Energy and Rural Development Conference

The conference was sponsored by U.S. Senator Byron Dorgan and the Energy and Environmental Research Center of North Dakota. Attendees from North Dakota and 12 other states discussed the many benefits of wind energy systems, including the potential for enhancing both sustainable rural economic development and regional environmental quality.
