- NASA's Science, Aeronautics, and Exploration Mission Directorates are proceeding with detailed development and preparation of Recovery Program Plans.
- Johnson Space Center (JSC) Hurricane Damage Repair Projects: JSC received and is processing responses on over 100 questions for the two Roof/Loggia Package IFBs (Invitation for Bids).
- Johnson Space Center (JSC) Hurricane Damage Repair Projects: Conducted a pre-proposal conference/site visit for each of the five 8(a) companies to which JSC issued solicitations the previous week.

Major Planned Actions: |
- NASA intends to submit program-specific Recovery Act plans to OMB as soon as they are available and then post those plans on NASA's web site.
- NASA intends to begin soliciting for contracts and grant proposals, and then start work on Recovery Act projects, as soon as program plans are completed and reviews are completed by OMB and Congress.
- Initial Recovery plans and allocations will be integrated into the agency's initial operating plan and forwarded to OMB and Congress in late-April.
- Johnson Space Center (JSC) Hurricane Damage Repair Projects (under NASA's Cross Agency Support (CAS) activities): Will issue amendments to each Invitation for Bid (IFB) solicitation in the coming week to publish the questions and responses to over 100 questions received in regard to the two Roof/Loggia package work packages.
- Johnson Space Center (JSC) Hurricane Damage Repair Projects (under NASA's Cross Agency Support (CAS) activities): Bid opening for two Roof/Loggia package work packages is scheduled on or about April 30, 2009.
- Johnson Space Center (JSC) Hurricane Damage Repair Projects (under NASA's Cross Agency Support (CAS) activities): Expect to issue the remaining two 8(a) RFPs by mid-May.
