25 Yr Service Award

Ms. Linda Hollifield of Hopper, Arkansas has been a cooperative observer for the National Weather Service (NWS) for 25 years (as of June, 2001). During that time, she collected precipitation data on a daily basis and sent her measurements to the NWS.  The measurements become part of a national database and are eventually published (for use by business, government agencies and the general public) by the National Climatic Data Center in Asheville, North Carolina.

For her efforts, Ms. Hollifield received a 25 Year Length-of-Service Award.
