Ms.
Bernadine Fryar of Oden, Arkansas has been a cooperative observer for the National Weather
Service for 20 years. She has measured precipitation and mailed her
measurements to the National Weather Service at the end of each month. These
measurements are sent to the National Climatic Data Center in Asheville, North Carolina
and eventually published to become a part of the permanent record of the world's weather. For her efforts,
Ms. Fryar received a 20 Year Length-of-Service Award in June, 2002. |
