January & February
Conifer foliage and cones, holly (fruit), camellias, Japanese apricot, hellebores.

March
Snowdrops, crocuses, irises, Cornelian cherry, hellebores, daffodils, wildflowers, mahonia.

April
Daffodils, tulips, magnolia, wisteria, pawpaw, azaleas, Japanese andromeda, lilacs, fothergilla, silver weeping pear, rhododendron, trillium, tamarisk, redbud, hellebores, wildflowers, parrotia.
