What is the International Polar Year (IPY) Arctic Human Health Initiative?

The purposes of the Arctic Human Health Initiative (AHHI) are to explore potential linkages and areas of cooperation between Human Health Activities proposed to be undertaken during International Polar Year (IPY) 2007 -2008 by researchers in other circumpolar countries. Develop an Arctic Council IPY Arctic Human Health Proposal.
