Listening Sessions

Congressman Kind talks to western Wisconsin residents at a recent Listening Session. |
Traveling the district and meeting with the people of western Wisconsin remains my favorite part of the job. I know that keeping in touch with my constituents is the key to being an effective representative in Washington. That is why I hold listening sessions across the Third Congressional District. These listening sessions provide a great opportunity for you to share with me your thoughts and views, as well as to find out more about my work in Washington to reform federal farm policy, protect the rights of hunters and anglers, and expand access to rural health care.
If you cannot attend one of these sessions, I encourage you to send me a quick email. I hope to see you there!

Telephone Town Hall
Sometimes for work, family, or health reasons, it can be difficult for people to attend a conventional town hall meeting. That is why I have started holding Telephone Town Halls. Using new teleconferencing technology, Telephone Town Halls allow provide an opportunity for constituents to hear directly from me on the issues affecting them, and communicate their questions and concerns directly to me from their own home.
More than 10,000 people have participated in the first two Telephone Town Halls. These calls are a lot of fun, and are something that I will do again in the future. You can listen to the calls by clicking on the links below.
