The Public Health Institutional Review Board (IRB)
The Public Health Institutional Review Board (IRB) reviews research studies to ensure that the rights and well being of people who are subjects in research are protected. It is the vision of the Public Health IRB that investigators are provided with thorough and timely review of their research proposals, and that persons participating in research are assured that all research is conducted in an ethical and accountable manner.

Oregon IRB Registry
ORS 192.547(3) requires that all Oregon IRBs conducting genetic research be registered with the Oregon Public Health Division. To register, please complete the form and return.
Meeting Dates and Application Deadlines
Application material must be received by the deadline in order for the project to be heard on the applicable meeting date. No exceptions will be allowed. These dates may be updated without notice so please check this site regularly.
