Every time you access an iEdison page within the
"www.iedison.gov" domain, we collect information
from your computer about your visit. This information
is used to create a summary report that identifies
items such as the date, time, origin and nature
of requests, specific pages accessed, and the type
of browser and operating system being used. Summary
reports are only available to selected iEdison staff
members, in an effort to help us understand overall
trends of site users and to implement changes that
will make our site more useful to visitors.
When inquiries are sent to us by
e-mail, we store the question and the e-mail address
so that we can respond electronically. Unless otherwise
required by statute, we do not identify publicly
who sends questions or comments to our web site.
We will not collect information that will allow
us to personally identify you when you visit our
site, unless you chose to provide such information.
E-mail sent to iEdison is seen by
the people who are responsible for answering your
questions. Please remember that e-mail messages
are not secure against interception. So, if your
communication includes sensitive information like
invention or patent-related information, you may
prefer to contact us by postal mail or telephone
rather than e-mail.
Questions about iEdison privacy
policies should be sent to edison@od.nih.gov
