balanced vegetarian diet. It emphasizes consuming a variety of foods and
describes sources of protein and other important nutrients. Also included

Based on AICRs research report, Food, Nutrition and the Prevention
of Cancer: A Global Perspective, this 36-page booklet encourages individuals
to adopt a healthy diet to reduce the risk for cancer and other chronic
diseases and to help manage their weight. Recommendations include choosing
a diet rich in plant-based foods, thinking of meat as a side dish, eating
plenty of vegetables and fruits, and keeping portion sizes in check. Fifteen
