Description:
This class is for NIH Portal Community Managers, current and future, who want to learn about working with the NIH Portal. Both Portal Community and Project management will be outlined and discussed. The Project Leader Guide and Community Manager Guide will both be referenced in this class.

The Community Leader Guide and Project Leader Guide will both be referenced in this class.
 
Objectives:
Students will learn:
  • new portal terminology
  • methods for creating and giving access to community projects
  • understanding how projects and communites interact
  • using portal collaborative tools: calendar, tasks, announcements, document directories, discussions

Current or future Community/Project leaders
