Environmental Health Perspectives Volume 113, Number 11, November 2005
Environmental Health Perspectives November 2005 On the Cover. Never has the connection between natural resources, the need for energy supplies, and the vulnerability of this relationship to the vagaries of man and nature been more apparent than today. Events such as the recent Gulf Coast hurricanes and the ongoing crises in the Middle East cast in sharp relief the need for sustainable energy sources worldwide. Nations today are looking to new sources such as biomass and looking again at old sources including nuclear energy. Articles in this issue examine the potential and peril of both old and new technologies.
