RESERVATIONS

A block of sleeping rooms has been reserved at the hotel for arrival on Sunday, April 5, 2009 and departure on Tuesday, April 7, 2009. You may make reservations by calling the hotel at (800) 228-9290. Make sure you identify yourself as a member of the IMAGING THE PANCREATIC BETA CELL MEETING group room block to receive the group rate.

The room block will be in effect at the government rate until Monday, March 9, 2009. Any room reservations received after that date will be accepted on a space and rate availability basis. Please make your reservations as soon as possible. Any cancellation made by an individual must be done no later than 4:00 p.m., 72 hours prior to the scheduled arrival date. Any room cancellation made after the 72-hour period or a no-show will be charged one night's room and tax to the credit card on file.

DIRECTIONS TO THE MARRIOTT AT METRO CENTER

From Points North:
Take I-270 S to I-495 S/Capital Beltway (Crossing into Virginia). Take the George Washington Memorial Parkway, Exit 43-44, toward VA-193/Washington/Georgetown Pike. Take exit 43, George Washington Memorial Parkway toward Washington. Merge onto the George Washington Memorial Parkway South. Merge onto I-66 East toward Washington (Crossing into the District of Columbia). Stay to the right at the fork to go onto US-50 East. US-50 East turns into Constitution Avenue. Make a left onto 12th Street. Proceed on 12th Street approximately 3 ½ blocks. The hotel will be on the right hand side.

From Points East:
Take I-95 South. Merge onto MD-295 South via Exit 52, towards BWI Airport. Merge onto US-50 W/New York Avenue NE, towards Washington (Crossing into the District of Columbia). Turn left onto 6th Street NW/US-1/US-50. Turn right onto H Street NW. Turn left onto 11th Street NW. Turn right onto G Street NW. Turn right onto 12th Street. The hotel will be on the right hand side.

From Points South:
Take I-95 North to I-495 North toward Tysons Corner. Merge onto I-395 North via Exit 170A, toward Washington (Crossing into the District of Columbia). Take US-1 toward Downtown. Turn left onto 12th Street NW. The hotel will be on the right hand side.

From Baltimore/Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport (BWI):
Take the Baltimore-Washington Parkway South (MD 295) to US 50 West (New York Avenue). Take New York Avenue westbound. Turn left onto 7th Street, NW. Turn right onto E Street, NW and right on to 12th Street, NW. The hotel will be on the right hand side.

From Washington Dulles International Airport:
Follow the signs to Interstate 66 East to Washington. Follow I-66 to the Theodore Roosevelt Bridge (US Route 50). Take the Constitution Avenue exit off of the bridge. Follow Constitution and turn left onto 12th Street, NW. The hotel will be on the right hand side.

From Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport:
Follow the signs to Washington, DC (George Washington Parkway/I-395 North). Exit onto 12th Street, NW. The hotel will be on the right hand side.

AIRPORT SHUTTLE

SuperShuttle offers service to most hotels from Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport, Washington Dulles International Airport, and Baltimore/Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport. The taxi fare is approximately $15 from Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport, approximately $55 from Washington Dulles International Airport, and approximately $65 from Baltimore/Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport.
