CECCR I Grantee Meeting Follow-up

Final Grantee Meeting: from Innovation to Dissemination
Marriott Downtown Atlanta
Atlanta, GA
April 28-29, 2008

Five years ago, the National Cancer Institute funded four centers through the Centers of Excellence in Cancer Communication Research (CECCR) Initiative to advance the field of communication science. As this first initiative comes to an end, the final grantee meeting served as an opportunity for the CECCRs to present their research "from innovation to dissemination." In addition to a final update on the state of the science from the centers, cancer communication practitioners and researchers discussed implementing and disseminating this evidence based research to larger audiences. The grantee meeting was co-sponsored by the American Cancer Society. Click here to read the midcourse update that summarizes the progress of the CECCRs approximately halfway through grant funding.
