Small Grants Program
For Behavioral Research in Cancer Control

Eligibility



Small research grants are for

  • New investigators who have not been principal investigator on an NCI funded cancer control research grant
  • Established scientists refocusing their research interests to include behavioral research in cancer
  • Predoctoral investigators enrolled in an accredited doctoral degree program

Investigators from a variety of academic, scientific, and public health disciplines are eligible to apply.

The principal investigator must have a formal written appointment with the applicant organization, which:

  • Must be in the form of an official relationship between the parties
  • Need not involve a salary or other form of remuneration
