Internship Information
Congressman Rogers offers summer internship opportunities for high school graduates from the Fifth Congressional District of Kentucky. Interns in the Washington office spend six weeks performing a variety of administrative and legislative duties, and have the opportunity to experience firsthand the inner workings of a Congressional office.
Interested students may be eligible to receive college credit for their work if approved by their school before beginning the internship. Additionally, candidates selected for internships will receive a small stipend from the U.S. House of Representatives to help defray the costs of living. However, housing is not provided and must be secured by the intern prior to arriving in Washington.
