U.S. Rep. Harold “Hal” Rogers (KY-05) announced today that President Obama issued an Emergency Declaration for Bath, Breathitt, Floyd, Jackson, Johnson, Magoffin, Morgan, Owsley, Perry, and Wolfe Counties, thus triggering the release of Federal funds. The Department of Homeland Security and Federal Emergency Management Agency have been authorized to provide appropriate assistance for the Commonwealth of Kentucky’s severe winter storm emergency.

Congressman Harold “Hal” Rogers (KY-05) announced today that the U.S. Department of Agriculture Rural Development (USDA-RD) program has approved a $15,700 grant for the Wolfe County Sheriff’s Department to purchase a new police cruiser. These funds will allow public safety officials in the City of Campton and surrounding areas to provide additional protection and emergency services for the rural population in Wolfe County.
