District Information
About 662,000 people live in Michigan’s 10th Congressional District, which stretches from M-59 (Hall Road) in Macomb County to the top of Michigan’s Thumb. This includes all of Huron, Lapeer, Sanilac and St. Clair counties as well as a portion of Macomb County.
All five counties uniquely contribute to the overall makeup of the 10th District. Each county includes its own diverse industry, including manufacturing, agriculture, tourism and boating.
This district is also home to the Blue Water Bridge in St. Clair County, which is the second most traveled border crossing in North America.
Few would dispute that Michigan’s most precious resource is its water. The vital waterways of Lake Huron, Lake St. Clair and the St. Clair River provide trade routes that enable ships’ movement through the Great Lakes and keep America’s economy moving forward. They simultaneously give residents the opportunity to enjoy many recreational opportunities, such as fishing and sailing.
