Washington, DC -- Congressman Steve Kagen, M.D. approved a bill to invest our hard-earned tax dollars right here at home, rebuilding America and creating new higher-wage jobs. Kagen voted for the American Economic Recovery and Reinvestment Act saying that it will give a timely boost to the economy of Northeast Wisconsin and the nation.

Washington, DC -- Congressman Steve Kagen, M.D. voted to protect taxpayer’s hard-earned money today, voting for tighter restrictions on the use of bailout money already appropriated by the previous session of Congress. Kagen voted in favor of the TARP (Troubled Assets Relief Program) Reform and Accountability Act, legislation that ensures that public funds be applied responsibly and transparently in attempting to stabilize our economy and establish a floor in the housing markets.
