Underground Storage Tanks Program In Indian Country

EPA's Office of Underground Storage Tanks, in partnership with EPA's regional offices, implements the underground storage tanks (UST) program in Indian country. We provide technical and financial support to tribal governments to prevent and cleanup petroleum releases from USTs. This Web area provides:
	UST Information And Training Resources – Provides UST-related information and training resources for tribal UST facility owners and operators, environmental professionals, and inspectors.
	Funding Resources – Provides information about different types of tribal grants, state and tribal response programs, and Brownfields funding information.
	Guidance, Laws, Policies, And Regulations – Provides information about USTs policies and regulations, EPA American Indian policies, and EPA laws, regulations, and guidance.
	Publications – Provides materials focusing on proper management of USTs, conducting cleanups effectively, and general program information.
	American Indian Tribal Portal– The American Indian Environmental Office developed this tribal portal to help American Indian communities and supporters locate tribal related information within EPA and other government agencies.
	American Indian Environmental Office – Oversees the development and implementation of EPA’s Indian Policy.
	Office of Solid Waste and Emergency Response (OSWER) Tribal Programs – Provides an overview of the OSWER tribal activities in each of its program offices Office of Solid Waste Emergency Response tribal area.
