Current EventsYear Round EventsDuring low tides a member of the BLM staff is available to talk about the intertidal inhabitants. The interpretive staff offer half hour and one hour Environmental Education talks. A guided headland walk is also available. The Yaquina Head Interpretive Center opened in 1997. The Interpretive Center also has video covering the Yaquina Lighthouses, Oregon's rocky intertidal life, and the principles of how the Fresnel lens works.
