The poem, tho it was actually/originally a jab at an earlier bumper sticker-type turn of phrase, was implying that immigrants come, do what they want, and get subsidized for it. Tho that of course is PARTIALLY true, i can see how the 'generaliz-ational' aspect to it could set u (or anyone) off,especially if u had not seen the earlier 'bs' (bumper sticker). tho i corrected it i'm not sure if i 'sorried' it. i'm still mulling an apology, but i can whole-heartedly express sorrow that my words hurt. 3 cheers.
