In addition to individual tests, please check out the assessment website
that we provide free-of-charge for teachers of reading. It has a short
lesson on how to use the site and then you can enter test scores and get
information about how best to teach students since we all know that they
have different needs! I hope you find this useful:
www.nifl.gov/readingprofiles and will contact us if you need further
information.

Subject: [Assessment] Best in Class Assessments?

Hi all.
I'm taking a reading assessment class for K-12 teachers and have
been asked to bring a list of the adult reading assessments, formal and
informal.

What are folks using out there these days? I know the TABE is most common,
but I'm sure there are some great standbys I've not seen out there I'd love
to know about.

Thanks!
